What affects the final price?
Number of sections and interior fittings (PAX), number of cabinet boxes (SEKTION), floor-to-ceiling height, and access — high-rises with elevator booking slots or staircase-only access may add to build time.

Many Los Angeles apartment buildings — especially downtown high-rises, Westside luxury towers, and HOA-managed communities — require any vendor entering the property to carry a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and name the building as an additional insured.
LA Assembly carries $2,000,000 in general liability coverage. We can provide a COI naming your building or management company within the same business day. Just share the requirements when you book — we handle the paperwork so you can focus on moving in.

Why IKEA builds take longer than the box says.
The instructions show two smiling people and a clock. Reality is different — here's what the manual leaves out.
LA apartments have uneven floors
Older Westside and Silver Lake buildings settle over decades. A PAX wardrobe that looks straight can rack 2–3 cm out of plumb by the time the doors go on. We shim from the base and use a laser level throughout.
The SKORVA beam defeats most first-timers
IKEA's HEMNES and MALM beds include a center support beam (SKORVA) that must be ordered or purchased separately — it's not in the main box. Many customers discover this mid-build. We know to ask about it before we arrive.
California requires wall anchoring
Tall furniture — dressers, wardrobes, bookcases — must be anchored to wall studs under California's anti-tipping rules (AB 2016). IKEA includes the hardware but not the stud-finder, the drill, or the know-how. We bring all three.
